
CLIPPED/SIDE LEVEL DESIGN
Clipped/Side is a Single-Player, First-person shooter set in a supernatural world ending scenario where the player have the ability to travel between parallel world to navigate the ever so hostile environments.​

The game is set in a snow forest have some ruined structures. The atmosphere separates into blue, and red to represent the 2 worlds. I have designed 3 level types, tutorial, safe zone, and exploration level. The work process starts with designing floorplan for planning the sequence, blockout and test, asset place, and setting the light.
Tutorial - Lost in the forest


The objective of this level is to introduce a player how to play the game as simple as possible. and focus on not making a player lose track in the dark forest. A lot of light and signs have been used to guide a way.




Snow forest & Ruin village


One of the open levels for a player to explore. The objective of this level is to explore the area, kill the enemy, and gather resources. I always add a large tower or any structure that high enough to catch a player's attention to guide them when they feel lost.




Safe Zone


The safe zone is a small area combined with 4 important objects, a safe box, a shop, a teleporter, and savepoint. We put objects that shouldn't be here to present the abnormal world concept.
